In the global context of mandatory electronic invoicing adoption, this innovative tool allows us to simplify the process of converting invoices in XML format without the need to develop complex XSL transformations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The electronic invoice processing solution uses a two-step mapping procedure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Mapping from XML tags to a semantic data model<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Mapping from the semantic data model to SAP fields<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The new transaction helps simplify the first step: instead of manually entering the data, this technology extracts all XML node combinations from an existing file or invoice and displays the currently configured mapping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In addition, the mapping utility provides direct access to configuration points to update or modify relevant process data, without having to navigate through the configuration menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Simulate document (create a test DP document with mapped data and view it in VIM Analytics)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      This tool can be used to adopt new XML formats, update or correct errors in the current mapping, and test assignments in a more agile and intuitive way. It also simplifies problem analysis, for example, when an invoice field is missing or if the source XML file is invalid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      SAP VIM<\/strong> also assists in processing these invoices by providing, as a reference, preconfigured mappings for electronic formats such as FatturaPA (Italy), Xrechnung and ZUGFeRD (Germany), Facturae (Spain), Factur-X (France and Germany)<\/strong>, and generic UBL<\/strong>, among others. In any case, VIM tools allow any other format to be easily adopted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
